Hi, I’m Giulia — a Biomedical Engineering student and iOS developer in training at the Apple Developer Academy. Hi, I’m Giulia — a Biomedical Engineering student and iOS developer in training at the Apple Developer Academy. I combine engineering, accessibility, and human-centered design to create digital experiences that are clear, inclusive, and meaningful. My work connects app development, UI/UX design, visual assets, game design, and project management, supported by a technical background in programming and engineering tools, and an international mindset shaped by languages and communication.
Hi, I’m Giulia — a final-year Biomedical Engineering student and iOS developer in training at the Apple Developer Academy.
My engineering background has shaped the way I approach technology: with attention to people, needs, and real-world impact. During my Academy journey, I have connected this perspective with accessibility-focused projects, exploring how digital products can become clearer, more inclusive, and easier to use.
I have built a solid technical foundation through programming and engineering tools such as C, C++, Java, SQL, MATLAB, FEBio, Swift, Xcode, and the Cisco Programming Essentials in C++ certification. At the same time, I have grown through projects involving UI/UX design, app interfaces, icons, visual assets, game design, and project management.
I’m curious, adaptable, and goal-oriented, with a strong interest in languages and communication. I speak Italian and English, study Chinese, and have basic knowledge of Spanish.
Analytical capabilities refined through university tutoring and multidisciplinary teamwork at the Academy.
Fluent communication skills to collaborate effectively across globally diverse environments.

In the development of this application, I took on the dual responsibility of Project Manager and Designer. My core mission was to bridge user needs with accessible tech solutions, ensuring that individuals with color vision deficiencies could interact with the app naturally.
During the development of ScenInk, I served as the Project Manager and lead Designer. I was responsible for coordinating team workflows, designing the core user experience, and conducting target audience research.
For this cross-device multiplayer project, I acted as the Project Manager, lead Game Designer, and 3D Modeler. I conceptualized the game's core loop, designed its multi-device UI/UX workflow, and created all visual assets and characters.
For this peer-to-peer audio project, I took on the roles of Project Manager, UI/UX Designer, and App Icon Creator. I coordinated our team’s progress, fully designed the interactive experience, and crafted the visual identity of the app.
An app icon is the first point of contact for users. My icon design process focuses on translating complex application logic into simple, recognizable, and highly polished visual metaphors that stand out on a user's home screen.
